Grape Stomp 5K
Diana and I ran our first 5K marathon in Livermore this past weekend. I am looking
forward to more and to definitely upgrade the distance.
Baracuta
Unfortunately, I just gotten rid of this jacket. A G9 Harrington Jacket by England's
Baracuta collaboration with Stussy from 2006. A truly classic piece.
Play
I originally intended to buy these Play by Comme De Garcons x Converse sneakers
only for Diana, but impulsively decided that I should grab a pair as well.
White Shirts
I always wait to see what company Supreme collaborates with next and since I have
been wearing nothing but plain tees all year this joint with Hanes was definitely an easy
purchase. The packaging is wonderful on this too.
Personal Effects
My brother and Melissa were kind enough to get me Hiroshi Fugiwara's book,
"Personal Effects," for my birthday.
Splash Cafe
Last weekend we had the chance to drop by Splash Cafe in Pismo Beach to try their
award winning clam chowder. It is by far the best clam chowder I have experienced.
Neighborhood (Blank)
Recently picked up this Supreme x Neighborhood hoody this month. I thought I could
use a thick, basic, sweater for this coming Fall. This was the blank used and does not
have the embroidery on it.
Comey
I realized I haven't been posting some of the unique gems we've found Diana this past
year. Here are some beautiful Rachel Comey wedges that I've been convincing her not
to sell.
Wing Tip
Another collaboration with W)taps for the Vans Syndicate line. This model called,
"The Rudeez," is probably one of the better W)tap models since the chukka from the
first run.

Today, I picked up these 2 cute containers. I was so excited to use them already for
the milk and orange juice.

Five Finger Filet Mignon
We came up on several slabs of filet mignon the other week. Diana was able to
prepare them beautifully with mushrooms, spinach, and zucchini.
Meals like this taste better when its free.
Stickers
I love collecting stickers, it has always been a hobby of mine. I grabbed a bunch of
these Google stickers from last year's Macworld to add to my collection. Such an easy
and adorable design.
Bloom 2009
Diana and I watched "The Brothers Bloom," last weekend and fell in love with the entire
casts' roles. Starring: Mark Ruffalo, Adrien Brody, and Rachel Weisz
Nike Stussy Blazer (2002)
*Sigh, The Nike Blazer collaboration with Stussy. Nike does not make blazers with
leather like this anymore and the classic Stussy Lime Green tops it right off. Stussy
London release only.
Stamps
The Simpsons were featured on the US Postal Stamps for May 2009 and I was able to
grab a sheet before they all went away. I was also able to find the perfect frame for it
as well. It actually looks pretty cool.
Ugly
I never got into the plushes, but today I convinced myself to buy one of David Horvath's
and Sun-Min Kim's, Ugly Doll Action Figures. Series 1. It will fit perfectly on my desk.

Over the weekend Diana and I caught the talented Sasha Grey, star in Steven
Soderbergh's, "The Girlfriend Experience," over at the Embarcadero theatre.
Seacliff
This year for Memorial Day a few of us decided to head down to Seacliff State Park
to enjoy some good food, and some beach volleyball. The weather seemed to be
overcast when we arrived, but surprisingly heated up slightly towards the late afternoon.
A Spike Lee Joint
Caught the debut of Spike Lee's Documentary on Kobe Bryant called, "Kobe Doin'
Work," on ESPN this afternoon.
Hustlin'
Don't get me wrong, but the "shoe game" has definitely gone a different direction.
What use to be a sacred obsession, meaningful addiction, unconditional love, those
feelings have now been repressed. I mean, it still lives inside those who were once loyal
to release dates, but for many people I know, it was just another day of letting go.
I have bought and sold over 200+ shoes, holding on to the ones that mean most. But if
every single pair holds a sentimental value, which ones do you keep? The question
remains to be a constant battle for me.
But in the end, I always decide to take the money and run...

Took a nice drive to the valley to do some wine tasting for our good friend Marcie's
birthday.
Nike Sportswear and Fragment Design 2009
Hiroshi Fugiwara is one of the lead designers for NSW and have brought the Nike
Tennis Classic back to life. I picked these up earlier this year, although it is just another
retro Nike has been consistently putting out, the design by HF, is an easy blue suede
with a subtle outlined swoosh. A very nice, warm conservative look for the summer.

In today's news, IHDC in the Tenderloin hits front page of the Bay Area section in the
Chronicle. Letting the community know that they are bringing movies to life.
Shawn Mortensen RIP
I bought this book by photographer Shawn Mortensen, titled, "Out of Mind," almost two
years ago. Sadly, this afternoon I was informed that Mortensen had past away at 43.

Alpine Meadows
First visit to Alpine Meadows in the Sierras. Felt great to finally hit the slopes again.

Agnes B
French Designer, Agnes B came out with a beautiful book containing most or even all
of her personal collections (photographs to paintings to etc.) I was able to get a copy
of it at her store on Grant.

Finally grabbed myself a copy at a good price. Now, all I need to is watch it. "Nothing
But The Truth," by Nike Skateboarding.
Murakami
Spent over $300 on Takashi Murakami Dolls at his exhibit in the Brooklyn Museum. It
was a phenomenal experience.

My Brother Matthew is now one of the merchants for GAP

Medicine Ball 2611/3000
I believe this Trainer III was the spark of Nike's LE (Limited Edition) campaign. Where
the LE was placed inside the soles of shoes that were of limited edition. Shoes were
available at Niketown's only, but my friend Mikey (Dunkairs) from NYC glady hooked it up.

Trovata X Vans
Trovata collaboration with Vans. Brown leather and a greenish corduroy exterior is
something you can't pass up. Especially with leather laces. One of my favs.

Had some left over fireworks and decided to build my own tube. It worked out perfectly.

Nike Taiwan 2001
These are probably one of the most classic pair of Nike Air Force 1's. All white patent
leather with opposite gradient color swooshes (this picture does no justice). You
seldom see these around and to be honest I sold them not because they were not my
size, but frankly, they did not tickle my fancy.
Denali
Another The North Face collaboration with Supreme NYC. However, as the Denali
being one of my favorite pieces by TNF, I was definitely upset with the size and fit of
these. Had to let go of it.
GAP x Thinsulate 3M
I'm always impressed by Gap's Fall/Winter accessories every year. This year I was able
to grab a pair of these warm leather gloves coated with 3m Insulation. The underlying
red plaided fabric is gives these gloves that Fall touch.
Paul Brown
The first Nike Blazer SB (2002). The leather on these are amazing. Paul Brown is one
of my other favorite colorways from Nike. These are definitely a classic piece to my
collection.
Point & Shoot
I buy a lot of junk and I wasted 16 bucks on this. If it can't hurt anyone, it's a waste of
time.
Number (N)ine by Takahiro Miyashito
I found these moccasins at a warehouse sale by Gimme Shoes over in Hayes Valley.
The owner happen to be great friends with Takahiro. Since they rarely carry N(N) I was
able snag these off the floor at a very decent cost.
UNDFTD For Tas
Also known as the "strawberry shortcake" colorway. Undefeated LA collaboration with
Tas Japan. Only 65 made.
Volume 6
Probably the only magazine that I have been buying since its first publication. Just
more eye candy to products I can't afford. This one actually previewed a lot of the
NSW (Nike Sportswear) gear and it definitely is going in a great direction. Sort of ivy
leagueish/athletic wear mix. Very creative and stylish. I enjoy it.
Pottery Barn
My friend Geoff, last summer, introduced me to these cute water containers from
Pottery Barn that are labeled, "Do Your Part." Just a reminder to all that we all must
indeed do our share to help our environment,
Jo Jackson for DC Shoes
The DC artist collection has been one of my favorite artist series created by any
footwear company (Actually if Nike kept doing it, it would have been neck in neck). It
started in 2001 with Shepard Fairey and continued with artists like KAWS,
Thomas Campbell, Evan Hecox, and many more. This was actually a hard find, and it
was done by the lovely Jo Jackson in 2006.
Junya Watanabe for Tas
Designer and prodigy of Rei Kawakubo (CDG) has become one
of my favorite designers. His shit is pricey, so I am yet to own
anything of his collections. However, I was able to find these shoes
for Diana by Japanese brand Tas, that were designed happily
by Junya.
Sundays With Diana
Guatemala, Almond Tea Cakes, and Japanese Ceramics. All compliment of Peets
Coffee & Tea.
Nike Dunk Hi Plus B Stussy (2001)
All premium black leather with a snakeskin swoosh. Go slap your mother.
Anticon
Anticon was a "indie/underground" hip hop label that I was into years ago. Their
methods of "scientific-al hip hop" was actually out of the ordinary at the time. They
definitely separated themselves through different forms of hip hop music and clearly
altered my identity in 2000.
